Nova2 macOS Client
A native game client for Apple Silicon Macs. Sharp on Retina displays, updates arrive automatically.
The launcher is about 3 MB. Game files download on first launch (about 2.7 GB).
This Mac seems to have an Intel processor. The macOS client runs only on Apple Silicon (M1 and later); on an Intel Mac you can play in the browser.
This page is for Mac. On Windows, use the Windows client or play in the browser.

FAQ
Why is there a warning?
Nova2 is distributed outside the App Store and does not carry an Apple developer signature, so macOS asks for your approval on first launch. You approve it once; there is no warning on later launches.
I use macOS 14 Sonoma or older
In the Applications folder, Control-click (or right-click) Nova2, choose Open, then click Open again in the dialog.
How do updates work?
The launcher checks for a new version every time it starts and downloads only the changed files. It also updates itself, so you never need to download it again.
The download stopped halfway
Open Nova2 again; the download resumes where it left off.
How do I uninstall?
Move Nova2 from Applications to the Trash. The game files are kept in a separate folder: in Finder choose Go → Go to Folder, enter ~/Library/Application Support/Nova2 and delete the folder that opens.
